Survey records from the UK Hydrographic Office note a steel hull sunken into the seabed with heavy kelp growth and a remnant wooden bridge falling away. The wreck features a least depth of 2.8 meters in a general depth of 10 meters, with a height of 7.2 meters above the seabed. Another wreck of the same type lies alongside to the north.

WK OF SAME TYPE ALONGSIDE TO THE N. (HMS ENDURANCE, HI 679). NCA, COVERED BY WK [56656] CLOSE S. HH090/722/01 23.5.97 LOCATED, NOT EXAMINED. (HMS ENDURANCE, HI 722).

Circumstances of loss
