About Wreck Report

Wreck Report is a site dedicated to helping users explore and understand maritime wrecks through clear, accessible mapping and reporting tools. Our goal is to make important underwater heritage and safety information easy to find and easy to browse.

The interactive online map is built primarily using data from the UK Hydrographic Office, AWOIS, NJ Maritime Museum’s Shipwreck Data Base. The map itself is powered by MapLibre, with the ArcGIS Ocean Basemap providing the visual foundation for exploring wreck locations.

We hope this resource supports researchers, divers, educators, and anyone with an interest in maritime history and ocean exploration.
