Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater shipwreck or obstruction identified at coordinates 53 18.052 N, 6 7.777 W located off the coast of the Irish Sea near the Dublin coastline. This submerged site was originally identified as a possible wreck during an INSS survey conducted between 1999 and 2005. The object was described as a collapsed structure with a general depth of 9 meters, measuring 26.5 meters in length, 4.5 meters in width, and 2.5 meters in height, lying on an orientation of 020/200 degrees with probable debris located nearby. While initially charted as a wreck with a least depth of 6.5 meters, a subsequent survey conducted in 2011 by RV Keary (KRY10-01) failed to locate the object and recorded a general depth of 8.6 meters, leading to the wreck status being amended to dead.
