Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction located at coordinates 53 17.88 N, 6 7.504 W near the coast of Dun Laoghaire, Ireland. Initially identified as a possible wreck with a general depth of 4 meters, a length of 4.5 meters, and a height of 2.3 meters during an INSS survey, it was later classified as a probable rock patch or obstruction with a revised least depth of 0.8 meters. Following a 2011 survey by the RV Keary, the obstruction was not located, and the record was amended to dead status. This underwater feature, once charted as an obstruction at 0.8 meters depth, serves as a historical navigation record for mariners in the Irish Sea.
