Simplified Wreck Survey

The underwater wreck known as Industry is located at coordinates 49 41.675 N, 3 0.762 W near the Les Hanois lighthouse off the coast of Guernsey in the English Channel. Historically recorded as a sunken vessel, the wreck was the subject of multiple hydrographic surveys following its initial reporting. Although early charts designated the Industry as a non-dangerous wreck with a position doubtful, subsequent professional sonar and diving searches conducted in 1951 and 2001 failed to locate any structural remains on the seabed. Following the 2001 Gardline survey, the Industry was officially disproved and removed from navigational records as the wreck site could not be verified.
