Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction Wreck BORO located at coordinates 49 34.94 N, 3 4.08 W in the English Channel near Guernsey. Historically reported as a sunk vessel 20 miles WNW of Guernsey, the wreck was previously charted as a non-dangerous wreck with a depth of 51 meters. Following hydrographic survey investigation by Gardline in 2001, the wreck site was searched and not located, resulting in the obstruction being disproved and amended to dead status on nautical charts. The position 49 34.94 N, 3 4.08 W is no longer recognized as an active underwater hazard.
