The shipwreck named TIDAL is located off the coast of Suffolk, England, near Corton and Covehithenness in the North Sea at coordinates 52 23.028 N, 1 50.39 E. Historical UK Hydrographic Office survey records indicate that initial sinking positions were approximate and subsequent search operations, including multibeam sonar surveys and intensive area searches by vessels such as HMS Bulldog and Trinity House ships, found no evidence of a wreck or any underwater obstruction down to a depth of 60 feet. Because repeated modern surveys failed to locate any structural remains, the TIDAL is classified as a dead record that was never officially charted.
