Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck Ida Duncan is located off the coast of North East England near the mouth of the River Tees at coordinates 54 38.988 N, 1 7.812 W. Originally dispersed in September 1921, modern survey data from 2018 confirms the wreckage is well broken up and scattered on the seabed. The wreck lies in a general water depth of 10 meters with a least multibeam depth of 9.55 meters. The structural remains of the Ida Duncan measure approximately 37.2 meters in length, 31 meters in width, and 1.7 meters in height, with an orientation of 125/315 degrees. Historical records indicate the site was previously investigated by divers and swept for navigation safety, with current assessments confirming it as a broken wreck site.
