NOTHING FOUND ABOVE GROUND LEVEL, CLEAR AT 27.75FT & ACCEPTED AS CLEAR OF ALL DANGER TO NAVIGATION. EXAMINED BY DIVERS 12.6.29, SAND HAD SCOURED AWAY FROM THE INSIDE OF THE WK BUT NO WRECKAGE WAS FOUND HIGHER THAN GROUND LEVEL. THE SITE WAS SWEPT ON 17.6.29, FOUL AT 28FT [LWS], CLEAR AT 27FT. LIES NEAR THE SIDE OF TEES CHANNEL 059DEGS, 0.24M FROM SOUTH GARE LT. LEAST DEPTH 27.75FT. (TEES CONSERVANCY COMMISSIONERS, 20.12.29). INS AS FOUL. BR STD. H6207/82 13.6.83 LARGE WK. DEBRIS SPREAD OVER WIDE AREA. REMAINS OF PIG IRON & SHIPS BOILER ALSO LARGE ANCHOR WHICH WAS RECOVERED BY DIVER 14.9.82. LEAST DEPTH 8MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 10MTRS. POSN 059.5DEGS, 445MTRS FROM S GARE LT OF 543857.3N, 010747.4W [OGB]. (TEES & HARTLEPOOL P.A. 6.6.83). CHART AS WK 8.0MTRS IN REVISED POSN. NE 2566. HH100/351/20 22.9.03 DIVED 14.6.03 IN LISTED POSN.
