Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Woodbine is a historical underwater obstruction located off the coast of East Anglia in the North Sea near Lowestoft. The wreck position is recorded at coordinates 52 30.028 N, 2 9.888 E. Historical naval records originally estimated the sinking position approximately 20 miles from Lowestoft. Despite multiple hydrographic survey attempts, including comprehensive multibeam sonar datasets collected in 1994 and 2017, the Woodbine has not been located on the seabed. Due to the lack of evidence of a physical structure or submerged wreckage in the surveyed area, the wreck status has been amended to dead and no further action is required.
