Wreck details for the shipwreck SCOTIA located in the North Sea off the coast of the United Kingdom at coordinates 52 27.084 N, 2 4.537 E. The SCOTIA is a largely intact shipwreck resting upright on a flat seabed of sand. Hydrographic surveys confirm the wreck orientation is 059/239 degrees. The structure measures 88.6 meters in length, 23.2 meters in width, and stands 8.9 meters high. Modern multibeam echosounder data indicates a least depth of 25.79 meters within a general water depth of 34 meters. The wreck is surrounded by a significant scour pit approximately 4 meters deep and 244.9 meters in length. Previous surveys noted the hull remains in good condition with visible upper deck details and evidence of collapsed superstructure. Historical records indicate the site has been monitored since 1948, with various examinations confirming the wreck remains a stable underwater obstruction in the North Sea.
