VESSEL, BUILT 1922 IN DRAMMEN WITH TWIN SCREW, 3 CYLINDER TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE AND 1 BOILER. ON PASSAGE FROM PORSGRUND FOR THE RIVER TYNE. DRAGGED ANCHORS & WENT TO PIECES AT SILWICK, HAVING LOST A PROPELLOR & BEEN PARTIALLY DISABLED IN A STORM EARLIER. CREW OF 11 RESCUED. PHOTO OF STRANDING.
