Simplified Wreck Survey

Wreck details for ROAM located at coordinates 51 21.534 N, 1 34.395 E off the coast of the North Goodwin Sands. This shipwreck site was historically reported as foundered approximately 3 miles north by west of the North Goodwin Light Vessel. Subsequent maritime surveys and intensive deep-water searches including hydrographic datasets from 1979 and 2018 have failed to locate any remains of the vessel. The wreck of the ROAM is officially classified as dead or non-existent in modern survey records. All intensive searches using multibeam echo sounder data have confirmed no obstruction exists at these coordinates.
