Underwater wreck summary for the Yvonne located near the Kent coast in the North Sea at coordinates 51 21.083 N 1 32.712 E. The vessel Yvonne sank in August 1941 and was initially marked for dispersal. Subsequent hydrographic surveys throughout the 1960s and 1970s identified the obstruction as a sunken wreck characterized by significant scour pits in the seabed and scattered debris. Multiple surveys using sonar and echosounders recorded varying depths and structural conditions, noting the site as broken up and scattered wreckage. Following extensive searches in the late 1990s and a 2017-2018 multibeam dataset survey, the wreck was not individually identified at this location and is now considered a dead record, likely associated with other nearby debris fields. The site is currently classified as NFA, meaning no further action or hazard is identified at these coordinates.
