Simplified Wreck Survey

Wreck details for UC 7 located at coordinates 51 22.034 N, 1 34.895 E off the Kent coast near the North Foreland in the North Sea. Historical records indicate the vessel was depth charged by the motor boat Salmon on 6.6.69. Extensive maritime surveys conducted in 1979 by HMS Egeria using DCS3 sonar systems failed to locate the wreck, leading to its classification as dead or non-existent at that position. Subsequent hydrographic reviews in 2018 using modern Gardline M/B datasets also resulted in no finds (NFA). While historically documented, current seafloor mapping suggests no identifiable structural remains such as welded steel or well-broken hull debris exist at these coordinates.
