Wreck details for the vessel QUESTING located off the coast of Caithness near Wick, Scotland. The wreck is situated at coordinates 57 51.781 N, 3 48.919 W. Originally reported sunk in September 1975 following a failed salvage attempt, the vessel shifted position and began breaking up shortly after. Historical survey reports indicate the mast was visible at low tide in October 1975, but by December 1975, the structure was confirmed to be well broken and no longer visible at low water, with significant wreckage washing ashore. The site is currently classified as foul ground due to the remaining underwater debris and wreckage.
