Simplified Wreck Survey

The Young Fox wreck is a submerged maritime obstruction located off the coast of Scotland in the North Sea at coordinates 57 52.331 N, 3 37.338 W. Originally reported as a sinking position in 1984, the wreck was previously identified in the area using historical navigation systems. However, a multi-beam hydrographic survey conducted in 2008 by Gardline failed to locate any structural remains at this site. Consequently, the obstruction has been formally disproved and removed from maritime navigational charts. The site is now classified as a dead record for mariners navigating off the Scottish coastline.
