Simplified Wreck Survey

USAF F111 aircraft wreckage located off the coast of Sutherland near the Dornoch Firth. The underwater site consists of aircraft wings discovered by divers lying flat on the seabed and silting over. The debris field features wreckage measuring 15 feet long by 12 feet wide located in approximately 15 feet of water. The official wreck position is 57 51.981 N, 3 57.585 W. This obstruction is part of a two-aircraft loss incident. The site is currently classified as a foul area for navigation. The fuselage of the aircraft remains unlocated.
