Underwater Wreck Survey Details Coordinates 50 39.067 N 0 40.733 W English Channel near the Owers Lightvessel and the Sussex coast Historic wreck records indicate the site was initially reported in 1918 near the Owers LTV and later reviewed in 1928 when no obstruction was located during surveys The position was updated in 1972 and a bell was recovered in 1976 with subsequent historical notes linking the site to confusion with the vessel Axewell and later comparisons to the Zaanstroom Further multibeam and sonar searches in 2003 and 2018 failed to locate any remaining structure at this approximate position and the wreck status has been marked as deleted and not located
