Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck of the Menolios is located in the English Channel off the southern coast of England at coordinates 50 39.735 N, 0 41.19 W. Initially reported as a wreck in 1930 and briefly marked as a dangerous wreck, historical records show that the obstruction was officially dispersed by explosives in 1936. Modern marine surveys conducted in 1977 and 2003 using side-scan sonar and physical searches found nothing visible at low water and failed to locate any trace of the remains, leading hydrographic authorities to classify the site as a dead wreck and remove it from active navigation charts.
