The Melrose Abbey is an unlocated underwater wreck and obstruction situated off the coast of Cornwall, England, near the Lizard Peninsula in the English Channel. The recorded approximate position for filing purposes is 49 59.036 N, 5 21.061 W. Historical hydrographic surveys and modern multibeam bathymetric sonar searches conducted in the area have been unsuccessful in locating the remains of the vessel on the seabed, leading to its classification as dead or non-existent.

VESSEL, BUILT IN 1917 BY CAMPBELTON S B CO. AND OWNED AT THE TIME OF LOSS BY FREDERICK JONES & SONS, SANK AFTER COLLISION WITH STEAMER 'GIRASOL' OFF THE LIZARD, EN ROUTE CARDIFF TO DELFZYL. NO CASUALTIES. (DODS & SHIPWRECK INDEX OF THE BRITISH ISLES).
