The shipwreck of the vessel Vigrid (possibly) is located at coordinates 49 59.891 N, 5 24.638 W in the waters off the coast of the United Kingdom. Originally sunk in 1918 and later located and surveyed, the well-degraded wreck lies in a general depth of 50 meters with a least multibeam depth of 40.09 meters. The structural description of the site reveals that the wreck is broken in two main sections, oriented at 015/195 degrees. The northern section is the largest, measuring 188 meters in length, 30.9 meters in width, and 10.7 meters in height, featuring a debris field measuring 90 meters by 50 meters, visible aft masts, mast houses, and potential gun tub remains. The southern section lies 75 meters to the south-southeast, where the port hull has collapsed into the hold while parts of the stern superstructure remain intact over a seabed consisting of fine sand and broken shell.

LEAST M/B DEPTH 40.09MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 50MTRS, LENGTH 188MTRS, WIDTH 30.9MTRS, HEIGHT 10.7MTRS, ORIENTATION 015/195 DEGS. WRECK IS WELL DEGRADED AND BROKEN IN TWO. THE NORTHERN SECTION OF THE WRECK IS THE LARGEST WITH A DEBRIS FIELD OF 90M BY 50M. POSSIBE TO SEE THE AFT MASTS AND MAST HOUSES AS WELL AS TWO CIRCULAR OBJECTS ON THE EASTERN SIDE HICH MAY BE REMAINS OF GUN TUBS. THE SOUTHERN MOST SECTION IS 75MTRS TO THE SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF THE MAIN SECTION. THE PORT HULL HAS COLLAPSED INTO THE HOLD BUT SOME OF THE STERN SUPERSTRUCTURE REMAINS. (MMT, HI 1500). AMEND NDW 40MTRS IN REVISED POSITION.
