The shipwreck Grey Parrot lies in approximately 40 meters of water off the coast of Cornwall, near Lizard Point, England. The official wreck position is coordinates 49 58.203 N, 5 21.06 W. Historical records show the vessel sank on February 27, 1978, located 276 degrees and 5.8 miles from the Lizard Light after striking an unknown object. During modern multibeam sonar surveys conducted in October 2016, the wreck was not located, and its status was amended to dead.
