Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck Horsted is an underwater obstruction located off the coast of Withernsea in the North Sea at coordinates 53 53.767 N, 0 15.751 E. Sunk in December 1939 and positively identified through recovered artifacts and machinery, the historic wreck sits upright on its hull in a general depth of 42 meters. The site features a least multi-beam depth of 35.98 meters, with a length of 88.1 meters, a width of 21.1 meters, and a height of 6.7 meters, oriented on a 178/358 degree heading. While the structure has broken up, two boilers and the engine remain visible near the stern alongside a strong magnetic anomaly.
