The Varangmalm possibly is an underwater shipwreck located in the North Sea off the east coast of England near the Humber estuary at coordinates 53 53.705 N, 0 16.323 E. Originally mined on December 10 1939, the historic wreck was thoroughly examined on March 21 2016. The intact structural description reveals a wreck sitting upright on its hull oriented at 342/162 degrees with a length of 85.8 meters, a width of 19.9 meters, and a height of 5.42 meters. The least multibeam echo sounder depth over the obstruction is 37.0 meters within a general surrounding water depth of 42 meters. Key features visible on the seabed include two boilers in the central section, a collapsed port side, and a strong magnetic anomaly.
