Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater shipwreck record for the coastal waters of Sierra Leone near Freetown located at coordinates 8 29.066 N, 13 12.096 W. Historical survey data originally identified a coaster type vessel at this position with the bow facing North. Subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in 2019 by the UK Hydrographic Office via photo-plot analysis confirmed that no visible wreck or underwater obstruction remains at these coordinates. The wreck site is now officially classified as cleared or dead on navigational charts.
