Simplified Wreck Survey

UK Hydrographic Office wreck survey details for the KENTBROOK located at coordinates 52 6.379 N, 1 35.243 E off the coast of England. Historical survey records show the shipwreck was originally recorded in 1959 as entirely above the drying line and later sighted as a stranded wreck by HMS Myrmidon in 1965. A 1969 survey by HMS Enterprise noted the remains consisted of a lower hull and boilers only 12 feet high. By 1977, a survey by HMS Beagle reported the wreck was no longer visible and recommended it be expunged from hydrographic charts.

H2076/69 6.3.69 CONSISTS OF LOWER HULL AND BOILERS ONLY 12FT HIGH. FIXED BY BEARING AND DISTANCE FROM TRIANGULATION POINT DURING. COASTLINING. (HMS ENTERPRISE, ROS DTD 19.11.68). H1928/76 18.2.77 NO LONGER VISIBLE. SHOULD BE EXPUNGED. (HMS BEAGLE, ROS DTD 28.8.76). BR STD.
