Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck known as the BLAKE is located off the coast of Cape Wrath in the North Atlantic at coordinates 59 4.361 N, 5 15.964 W. This underwater wreck site has been surveyed using DGPS and multibeam sonar to confirm its structural integrity. The vessel lies upright on the seabed in general depths of 104.4 meters. The wreckage measures 100 meters in length, 30 meters in width, and stands 6.1 meters high above the seafloor. It is oriented on a 165/345-degree axis with the bow pointing toward 340 degrees. The site exhibits a strong magnetic anomaly and remains largely intact with no significant scour. The least depth over the wreck is recorded at 98.3 meters.
