FIRE BROKE IN HOLD CONTAINING CARBIDE CARGO WHEN RAIN PENETRATED COVERS. WAS INITIALLY EXTINGUISHED, BUT BROKE OUT AGAIN FOUR DAYS LATER. VESSEL TOOK ON LIST AND WAS ABANDONED. LATER VESSEL COULD NOT BE FOUND AND PRESUMED TO HAVE SUNK. PASSAGE KAOHSIUNG FOR TANJUNG PRIOK & BELAWAN. (LL).
