GEN DEPTH 32MTRS APPROX. NOT LOCATED BY THV PATRICIA IN SINKING POSN AND DOWN TIDE. (TH, FAX DTD 5.6.99). NCA. FOR FILING ONLY.

BROKE FREE WHILST UNDER TOW, THE CREW HAVING PREVIOUSLY TAKEN OFF THE VESSEL. RIGHTED BY C/S MONARCH BUT WAS UNABLE TO RECOVER CRAFT. ATTEMPS TO SINK BY GUNFIRE FROM US WARCHIP '57' PROVED UNSUCCESSFUL. LATER SANK.
