The underwater wreck known as the Appollo is located at coordinates 51 42.832 N, 1 57.392 E in the North Sea off the coast of Suffolk, England. Although historically documented, the wreck of the Appollo was never charted and has been officially amended to dead status. Extensive underwater surveys, including searches conducted by Oceonics using advanced DCS3 technology and magnetometers, failed to locate any remains of the vessel at this position. The search history for this site also references potential connections to the wrecks of the Franz Nansen and La Flandre. As the site remains unverified by modern hydrographic surveys, it is not considered an active underwater obstruction.
