Simplified Wreck Survey

UK Hydrographic Office survey records for the historic underwater wreck of the steel steamship Saxonia located near the southern entrance to Libau Harbor in the Baltic Sea at coordinates 56 31.7 N, 20 57.95 E. The approximately 120-foot steel steamer was totally blown up, with a least depth of 16 feet recorded in a general depth of 30 feet. Historical hydrographic data notes the wreck is now dead, removed from charts, and not shown on Latvian navigational chart 3700.
