Simplified Wreck Survey

The BOTTcher is a historic underwater wreck and former suction dredger located near the southern entrance to Libau Harbor in the Baltic Sea at coordinates 56 31.75 N, 20 58 E. Originally a 147-foot steel steamer lying approximately 335 feet from the south pier head, the vessel features a hull and deck that were partly blown up with a least depth of 12 feet in a general depth of 30 feet. Official hydrographic surveys and British Consulate records confirm the wreck is no longer charted and is now designated as dead and not shown on modern Latvian charts.
