Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck of the Saint Magnus is located in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland near Rattray Head at coordinates 57 32.275 N, 1 43.694 W. This underwater obstruction was examined using DGPS, revealing an intact wreck lying on a heading of 135 to 315 degrees with its bow facing southeast. The site features a strong magnetic anomaly and a least multibeam depth of 42.74 meters within a general surrounding depth of 49.2 meters, alongside a scour measuring 0.6 meters deep. The structure of the wreck measures 69 meters in length, 22 meters in width, and 6.5 meters in height, and is considered to be probably upright.
