Simplified Wreck Survey

The RIBRA underwater wreck is located at coordinates 51 18.008 N, 4 17.258 E in the North Sea off the Belgian coast near Ostend and The Hague. Initially discovered on November 13, 1970, under survey reference H1233/70 as a dangerous obstruction with a depth of 0.3 meters, it was originally marked by a green cylindrical topmark light buoy flashing Group Flashing 2 Green every 10 seconds. Following salvage operations on May 6, 1971, the wreck hazard was successfully removed and the marking buoy was withdrawn, with official navigational records amended accordingly.
