The wreck of the Powhatan is an underwater obstruction located off the coast of Scotland, north of the island of Rona in the North Atlantic Ocean. The site is situated at coordinates 59 33.30N, 06 00.11W and consists of a large, intact steel vessel measuring 130 meters in length and 25 meters in width. Surveyed by HMS Bulldog, the wreckage lies in a general depth of 136 meters, with a least echo sounder depth of 122 meters. The structure stands 12.4 to 14 meters high, is oriented on a 135/315-degree axis, and appears to be sitting upright on the seabed. There is no evidence of scour around the hull, and the highest point of the vessel is located at its center. This historical shipwreck, potentially identified as the Powhatan, remains a significant underwater feature in these waters.
