Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck information for the vessel LEO located off the coast of North Rona. The wreck of the LEO, a World War II era steel vessel, is positioned at 59 32.467 N, 6 37.819 W. Historical survey data initially indicated the wreck sank 315 degrees and 35 meters from North Rona. Following multiple hydrographic surveys and data re-assessments by the UK Hydrographic Office, the status of the LEO wreck has been officially amended to dead, as the site was not found during subsequent underwater investigations and depth recordings rendered the original location too deep to chart. This wreckage site is officially classified as non-charted and abandoned.
