The shipwreck Poseidon lies at coordinates 59 40.467 N, 5 43.477 W off the coast of the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. This underwater obstruction is the result of the vessel Poseidon catching fire and being abandoned before sinking. The wreck is currently anchored to the seabed by its own fishing gear. Surveyed by the UK Hydrographic Office, this site is recorded as a non-dangerous wreck in its abandoned position. The wreck remains a noted navigational hazard in these waters.
