The UKHO shipwreck records detail the historical status of the PLUTUS, a World War I vessel torpedoed by a submarine approximately 9 miles north-northwest of Trevose Head off the coast of Cornwall, England. Historical hydrographic surveys initially charted the wreck as a 35-meter obstruction based on approximate coordinates, though subsequent sonar and diving investigations on 22 November 2001 officially failed to locate the structure, resulting in the site being classified as disproved and dead. The official wreck position is recorded at coordinates 50 41.032 N, 5 7.563 W.
