UB 65 shipwreck dive and survey details located at coordinates 50 40.107 N, 5 2.123 W off the coast of southwest England. This historic World War I Type UB III German submarine wreck sits at a least echo sounder depth of 46.6 meters in a general depth of 54 meters. The intact and undamaged submarine measures 50 meters in length and 32 meters in width, lying on a 110/290 degree orientation with a strong magnetic anomaly. Key structural features include a well-defined superstructure, open hatches, a large 105mm deck gun in front of the conning tower, bronze propellers, and a casing collapsing around the tubes. The wreck also contains considerable quantities of munitions and unexploded torpedoes on board.
