Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located at coordinates 54 41.892 N, 1 9.533 W off the coast of County Durham, England, in the North Sea. This historic shipwreck site is situated in general depths of 15 meters with a least multibeam depth of 11.9 meters. Surveys confirm the wreckage is broken into two distinct pieces with overall dimensions of 73.2 meters in length and 28.2 meters in width. The wreck stands approximately 4.26 meters high on the seabed with an orientation of 081/261 degrees. Previous diver inspections noted sections of machinery, a potential boiler cylinder approximately 3 to 4 meters long, and a large steel plate structure partially buried in soft mud. The site remains heavily covered in discarded fishing gear, including nets and lobster pots. WHAT COULD BE THE REMAINS OF A SMALL BOW SECTION 3MTRS HIGH IS POINTING UPWARDS AND HEAVILY COVERED IN LOST LOBSTER POTS AND NETTING. NEARBY THERE IS A CYLINDER, ?BOILER, SOME 3MTRS IN DIAMETER AND ABOUT 3-4MTRS LONG, SOME SMALL MACHINERY AND A LARGE PLATE, ABOUT 1MTR ABOVE SEABED ON ONE SIDE AND ABOUT 8MTRS LONG, WHICH SLOPES OFF INTO THE SOFT MUD.
