Simplified Wreck Survey

Located at coordinates 0° 47.742' S, 104° 28.342' E in the waters of the Riau Archipelago, Indonesia, this historical underwater wreck site was originally reported as a deep water obstruction in 1999. Hydrographic survey records linked the location to the heavy-lift vessel Mighty Servant 2, a welded steel structure. Maritime records confirm that the vessel was successfully salvaged and lifted from the seabed in late 2000. UK Hydrographic Office survey updates and Notices to Mariners officially revised the status on regional nautical charts, including Indonesian Charts 41 and 47 as well as Admiralty Chart BA 1789. The submerged wreck is currently classified as dead, confirming the location has been cleared and no longer presents a hazard to surface navigation.
