Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck location at 58 12.41 N, 5 32.756 W situated off the coast of the North West Highlands of Scotland. This underwater obstruction, recorded in UK Hydrographic Office archives, was surveyed and examined to determine its structural integrity. The wreck lies in general depths of 112 meters with a least echo sounder depth of 106 meters. The obstruction measures 33 meters in length with a height of 7 meters and is oriented on a North East to South West axis, with the highest point at the North East end. Sonar trace analysis confirms the site is not a submarine wreck as previously speculated. There is no evidence of seabed scour surrounding the structure. Survey data indicates the feature is charted as a wreck with a depth of 105 meters.
