Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction located at 56 10.435 N, 002 32.983 W in the North Sea near the Isle of May. This maritime hazard, originally identified as minor debris with snagged fishing nets, was re-examined in 2016. The obstruction now sits at a charted depth of 44.5 meters within a general seabed depth of 47 meters. The structure measures 3 meters in length, 3 meters in breadth, and has a height of 2.6 meters. Classified as a foul area, this site is identified by the UK Hydrographic Office and recorded as a submerged hazard to navigation. Current survey data confirms a minimal footprint with no significant scour present.
