The shipwreck known as the ISLAND is located at coordinates 56 11.095 N, 2 32.991 W off the coast of East Lothian, Scotland. This underwater wreck site is described as being well broken up, with the main structure flattened. Notable features include boilers that stand 3 meters high sitting in a general depth of 13 meters. While the majority of the vessel is submerged, the bows of the ship remain visible 12 meters up the nearby cliff face. Underwater surveys conducted in 1994 reported that the wreck was not found at the recorded position, suggesting significant structural degradation or sediment coverage. This site remains a point of interest for maritime history and local wreckage records.
