Simplified Wreck Survey

The wreck of the vessel Mare Vivimus is historically recorded near the coordinates 56 7.995 N, 2 51.089 W off the coast of Scotland near the Firth of Tay. Although initially reported as a shipwreck in 1925, subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in 1960 by HMS Scott and later in 1994 by Oceonics UK Ltd failed to locate any wreckage or underwater obstruction at this position. Because multiple sonar searches have yielded no results, the site is no longer considered a navigational hazard or a confirmed underwater wreck.
