Underwater shipwreck located off the coast of North Yorkshire in the North Sea at coordinates 54 34.99 N, 0 36.159 W. This underwater obstruction sits at a depth of 48.11 meters within a general seabed depth of 51 meters. The wreck is identified as an inverted and intact vessel, measuring approximately 16.2 meters in length, 6.8 meters in width, and 3.09 meters in height. The structure is oriented at 110/290 degrees and features a flat bottom, a square stern, and a blunt bow. Previous surveys indicate the vessel may be one of the two lighters lost alongside the tug Desire. The site includes associated debris near the midships and specific winches detached from the stern area. Current hydrographic data confirms the wreck remains a notable underwater feature in this sector of the North Sea.
