13.6.76 VESSEL, BUILT 1944 IN SCOTLAND. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY MARITIMA JOLIKA SA. WHILE LYING IN AN EMPTY CONDITION AT SALERNO, SANK NEAR A BREAKWATER DURING VERY SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS. SHE HAD BEEN AT SALERNO SINCE 13.6.76, LAID UP, UNDER ARREST HAVING BEEN TOWED TO THAT PORT AFTER STRIKING A ROCK. (MSD).
