DCS3 HT 3.0MTRS, LENGTH 60MTRS, WIDTH 40MTRS. LIES, EXTREMELY BROKEN UP ON ROUGHLY AN E/W AXIS WITH SHOALEST PART AT W END. MAGNETOMETER INDICATES FERROUS CONTENT OF 500 TONS. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 533). INS AS WK 51MTRS. - NM 2106/93. HH100/351/19 28.4.03 HAS BEEN POSITIVELY IDENTIFIED AS HMS BLACKWOOD. CENTRAL PORTION OF THE HULL IS INTACT, COMPLETE WITH UPPER DECK. FWD PART ENDS AT A BULKHEAD WHERE THE BOWS WERE BLOWN OFF. LARGE DEBRIS AREA AT THE STERN WHERE DEPTH CHARGING HAS EXPLODED ONBOARD ORDNANCE. DIESEL ELECTRIC ENGINES PROTRUDE FROM THE HULL.
