SANK AN HOUR AFTER COLLIDING WITH ANOTHER NAVAL VESSEL TAFELBERG DURING A NAVAL EXERCISE 80M SW OF CAPE POINT IN THE DARK AND IN VERY BAD WEATHER. 177 CREW WERE RESCUED, 1 BODY RECOVERED AND 15 REPORTED MISSING. (LL 247).
